Atlantic Assembly 2025 – The Frontlines of Change

The Young Atlantic Association is excited to announce its upcoming program on security issues: Atlantic Assembly 2025 – The Frontlines of Change on Saturday, April 12!

The event will start at 9:00 AM in New Babylon in The Hague. During the morning program, 60 participants will join in for a round of serious gaming hosted by Goldsworthy, Stolk & Associates. The serious game, aimed at providing an interactive experience related to highly relevant security issues, will involve a simulation in a geopolitical scenario.

If you are not participating in the serious game, there is also an option to join part of the morning program for an ‘In conversation with…’ session with esteemed speakers, to be announced at a later date.

At 13:00, the event continues with an opening of the afternoon program by the chair of the Young Atlantic Association, Lotte van den Boom. The opening keynote speech will be given by the former Chair of the Military Comittee of NATO, Admiral Rob Bauer.

The afternoon program consists of two rounds, where participants can choose to attend a session in one of the three separate subthemes:

Round 1 – The first round broadly evolves around present-day challenges and changes. Participants can choose to attend one of the following three subthemes:

1.1 Panel – The Evolving Battlefield: A Multi-Domain Perspective on Warfare

1.2 Panel – BRICS: An Expanding Alternative to the Western World Order?

1.3 Interview – Borders in Flux: Governing Migration in a Changing World
