Career Webinar: Working at an international organization

Have you always dreamed of an international position or internship? During this webinar, Jean-Pierre Kempeneers and Céline Shakouri-Dias will give us a presentation about what kind of international positions there are. Jean-Pierre Kempeneers will talk about the different international organizations you could work for, whereas Céline Shakouri-Dias will give us more information about NATO.

Jean-Pierre Kempeneers:

Jean-Pierre Kempeneers is currently Ambassador, National Coordinator International Positions at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 1995, he has been working for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he started as Head of the Economic Section in Tel Aviv (2001) and after as Private Secretary to the Minister for European Affairs in The Hague (2002). He continued his career as Head of Political Section at the Permanent Representation of the Netherlands in New York followed by his position as Human Rights Chief in 2010 and Head of Division within the European Department in 2012. In 2014, he worked as Senior Director Government Relations and European Affairs in Philips’ European Office in Brussels.

Céline Shakouri-Dias: 

Céline Shakouri-Dias has been the Head of Talent Management and Organizational Development at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels since May 2016. Prior, in 1997, she worked as Management Associate HR for Bosch. She continued her career at TRW (1999) as HR Manager followed by a similar position at Nielsen (2003). As of 2007, she started at NATO as Officer in the Organizational Development department and carried on as Head of Talent Acquisition in 2008.
