A Nostalgic Future for Transatlantic Cooperation

Brexit was partially the result of a nostalgic longing for Global Britain and the Special Relationship with the United States. While many believe Brexit has worked to the detriment of Britain’s global position, the UK could employ its nostalgia to assert itself as a bridge builder within NATO.
