‘Als Poetin hiermee wegkomt, dan is de wereld zoals we die kennen geen gegeven meer, maar een kaartenhuis.’ Zo sprak minister van Defensie Kajsa Ollongren tijdens een grote bijeenkomst van de Atlantische Commissie op 23 februari jongstleden in het Haagse Wijnhavengebouw. Het eerste nummer van Atlantisch Perspectief van 2023 gaat ook in op één jaar oorlog in Oekraïne. Van Zeitenwendes tot de Russische ‘ideeënwereld’, tot Amerika’s rol en het risico op Ukraine Fatigue, tot kunstmatige intelligentie in een oorlog die soms meer weg heeft van de ouderwetse loopgravenstrijd in Verdun.
