The United States Parliamentary Contact Group

In March, the Parliament of the Netherlands officially established the U.S. Parliamentary Contact Group. Founding Chairman of the Contact Group Martijn van Helvert (Dutch Member of Parliament, Christian Democratic Party) explains why this group is of great significance for the bilateral relationship between the Netherlands and the United States and how it makes sense in today’s changing world order.
