The future of EU-NATO relations: doing less better
US and EU interests in some parts of the world have diverged since the end of the Cold War. The EU rightfully seeks to take on more responsibility to provide for its own security interests. NATO cannot ignore this reality. However, according to the writers of this brief the EU and the US share fundamental interests and values. Therefore NATO allies should confront both China and Russia, and both the EU and NATO need to adapt to also remain relevant to the US.
