Strategic Force Hubs: Thoughts to Develop a New Concept to Support Reinforcement and Sustainment
Since the end of the Cold War, NATO’s available military capabilities have been reduced enormously. Allies currently maintain only a limited ready forward presence on the flanks of NATO. Klaus Nebe and Pawel Kwarto explain the concept of the Strategic Force Hub, which could be the cornerstone for reinforcements and sustainment on the frontlines. The major prerequisite is having the entire preparation take place right now. Once established and fully developed, it will constitute an important part of the Alliance’s deterrence and defense posture.
