Reinforcement of NATO forces and military mobility
Much has changed for NATO since the Cold War. The leaders of member states still acknowledge its importance for deterrence and defense in Europe. But they also realize that enabling and sustaining forces depend largely on the ability to move forces and their equipment into and across Europe at speed.
