NATO’s nuclear deterrence

According to Dr. Adam B. Lowther, the American nuclear triad is of fundamental importance to NATO security. Therefore, it is also of fundamental importance towards European policy makers. However well-intentioned attempts at disarmament may be, NATO’s adversaries see them as a weakness, Lowther argues.
