JSEC: NATO’s New Reinforcement Command

The Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC) was established a little more than three years ago in response to the deteriorating security situation in Europe, after Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea and the terrorist attacks on Europe. Jürgen Knappe and Sergei Boeke  explain JSEC’s roles and responsibilities in creating the conditions that allow the movement of forces across the Supreme Allied Commander Europe’s Area of Responsibility.
