Intelligence sharing in NATO
In the fourth and last part of this special section on NATO and counterintelligence, Joseph S. Gordon discusses the steps that have been taken within NATO after the Cold War to improve intelligence sharing among NATO member states. According to Gordon, there has always been a tension between a state protecting its valuable sources and methods and sharing intelligence with other members. New missions, however, have increased the need for the latter.
