Dutch Flags and Maple Leaves: How Conspiracy Theories Created a Transnational Far-Right

Together with the anti-vax banners and upside-down Dutch flags, there were dozens of Canadian flags during Prinsjesdag. Why? According to Bàrbara Molas the far-right has used protests in the Netherlands and in Canada, specifically the Dutch Farmers’ Movement and the Canadian Freedom Convoy, to capitalize on anti-government sentiments developed locally to promote the idea that there is a transnational far-right.
