Ambitious but thorny. Negotiating the transatlantic trade deal.

 In the second part of this special section on economic Transatlantic relations, Thijs Roes conducts an interview about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) with Marietje Schaake and Ben Beachy. Schaake is a Dutch member of the European Parliament for the centrist party D66 and Ben Beachy is research director for Global Trade Watch, a division of consumer advocacy group Public Citizen. Schaake favors TTIP, while Beachy is more skeptical.
