On Wednesday 7 September, the Netherlands Atlantic Association and the US Embassy in The Hague organized a conference on


Empowering Women in Afghanistan:
Stability through Rural Development




The conference focused on women’s rights, economic empowerment, education,

health, and the need for development assistance.
