Energy Conference
On 26 and 27 November 2008 the Netherlands Atlantic Association, together with Netherlands Atlantic Youth, the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA) and the Young Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA) organized a two day conference on energy issues, entitled
‘Energy for All – a Challenge for All’
Some 60 young people from 20 European and North American countries took part in the conference at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague. They listened to lectures about, among other topics, energy security, the role of technology, resource nationalism, climate change, and the scenarios that Shell uses. Beside this, the participants took part in workshops that elaborated on the earlier introductions.
